Just got the word from Caroline who is the Director of the Tourism Hub to firm up dates, not sure why they're asking me, but here they are which I just pulled out of the air, leaving 1 week in between them so that Djalu can get some well deserved rest before starting the next one:

1st Masterclass: 7th-11th June 2010

2nd Masterclass: 21st-25th June 2010

3rd Masterclass: 5th-9th July 2010

4th Masterclass: 19th-23rd July 2010

The captain/owner of the Auriga Bay II wants confirmation and down payment for the cruiser so he can secure it for the Masterclasses rather than offer his services elsewhere for June and July.

So guys, if you belong to other forums or know anyone who is interested, point out the dates to them and get them to contact me. I'll forward the names and contact details to the Hub for those who have already expressed interest.

I've got 19 names so far just looking through some of my more recent emails and private messages, although in that 19 is a potential group of 10 so it could be 28 individuals altogether at this stage, which will almost fill 3 Masterclasses.

So the numbers are looking good so far, names have been forwarded on to the Hub and they will contact you, and I'll also send out a group email to explain the hand-over now that there is a dedicated entity to handle general tourism, Djalu's Masterclasses, and Masterclasses by other Yolngu in the area. I think it'll be great to build up the range of offerings including a diversity of experiences, destinations, clan groups and yidaki-djambatj mala that we can have the privilege of accessing.

More work to do so I better get moving.
