Hi everybody,

I was wondering if some forum members could share their opinions with me regarding whereabouts they might be from and the age of these didgeridoos. I have my guess but could be that I am way off.

I do not have the details such as length but the longest measures about 120 cm.

Cheers

I would say the top one is from North Central Arnhem Land (Milingimbi/Ramingining area). Guan will have a better idea about the origins of the other two although the black one looks similar to older instruments I've seen from the Darwin area.

I look forward to hearing Guan's thoughts.

Hi Mahir,

The instrument at the top is 1960s-70s from Milingimbi. The instrument in the middle is from Port Keats. The bottom one is not distinct enough to tell but if you uploaded a pic of the full length of the instrument that will help.

Guan

Hi Mahir,

I think the Port Keats stick is 1960s. I like the look of it best of the 3.
