Hello,

How do you clean your sticks ? And how often ?

Of course it all depends on the type of stick (raw Yidaki, sealed Didjeridu (oil or varnish or epoxy) or other material pipe).
Varnished or epoxied wooden bore just have to be watered.
But what about oiled- or raw-bore didjes ?

Ha, that's because you have too much sticks :-)
... well as a matter of fact, I don't clean mine too ... otherwise I wouldn't ask ... just change the beeswax mouthpiece once in a while ...

I only soak up moisture in the mouthpiece after play, when it is too wet inside with a piece of kitchen roll.
They don't look dirty inside ...

Funny, I do the same. I do now and then just brush a small amount of eucalyptus oil into the top inch or so of the mouthpiece, makes it smell nice and has acts as a mild disinfectant. I have experimented with tung oil outside of didj use and even one coat repels water very well!!! so I reckon with a well oiled instrument you could get away with a quick scrub with a bottle brush attached to a long stick and a bit of water etc. if you had to.
