Here's one of David cutting mago out bush- this comes from an editorial collection that my company represents and it's available for license. I've actually got it as a small print in my home

Nice Jason! The wood that Blanasi used to cut is familiar in the pic: Eucalyptus phoenicea. It is a multi-stemmed eucalypt with that characteristic yellowish flaky bark. Good curvy grain too. The stems generally don't tend to be flared in shape so getting a good bell-bottom mago made from E. phoenicea is not common... quite rare actually. Plus the fact that the areas where the tree grows has been devastated by commercial didj cutters.
