How's this for a good story, it may be a rumour but it comes from a good source?
I was told last week that a guy [known to friend of mine] Had 100 White Mallie [rubbish] sticks painted by an Aboriginal woman ALL THE SAME!
Posted a photo on ebay [evilbay I call it] and flogged off a heap of them with the artwork all the same and the sticks...Well who knows? :?

I would imagine this is still happening, probably worse than before!

Do you hear stories of illegal cutting in your part of Australia, Bindi?

Have not heard of any stories of illegal cutting this year.
I did hear about some a couple of years ago arriving here from NT and NTH QLD.
The termites here in [SE Qld] don't eat didges for us ,they eat our houses
:( .

I can't dispute the description and vintage, and as for price... value is what someone is prepared to pay! I would be surprised if it sold, might even eat my shoe if it did :o

Guan
