I'm a newbie here but can anyone recommend a book on the didjeridu, especially the traditional aspects of the instrument? I've searched Amazon but can't find anything. Thank you.

Welcome to the forum.

The Didjeridu: From Arnhem Land to Internet by Karl Neuenfeldt is a decent read. There are some copies available on amazon at the moment and some turn up on ebay on occasion.

There is plenty of information online however on the pages of the parent website of this forum www.ididj.com.au and here http://www.yirrkala.com/yidaki/dhawu/index.html

Hi, I also recommend The Didgeridoo Phenomenon by David Lindner.
Many players, crafters and accoustic-physicians giving their specific views on the instrument.
Djalu himself has got his chapter too !

Hey Peter,

Don't know how Manikay slipped my mind! Thanks for posting that link as well.
