This is gold. My prediction is that Gurrumul with this and subsequent re-mixes will hit the big big time just as "Treaty" did for Yothu Yindi, he's going to go stratospheric. I've downed it from iTunes and Wukun would have to be one of the best things I've heard all year, seriously, download it and hear for yourself. If not I can try to do a short sample to upload here. Guan Quote: ICONIC Territory superstar Gurrumul Yunupingu is flying up the dance charts in Europe following the release of a remix of one of his songs.
The Loverush UK version of Wukun cracked the top 20 in one of the UK's top charts.
It entered the Music Week Club chart at number 35, and jumped to number 24 the following week, before flying up to number 19 this week.
The traditional Yolgnu song is about clouds and how Aboriginal families move throughout East Arnhem Land.
The song was lifted from Gurrumul's multi-award winning debut double platinum album.
Loverush UK have remixed the likes of Paul Oakenfold and Boy George, and with identities like William Orbit - Madonna, Blur, Prince, Pink, and Britney Spears.
The track - available on iTunes -looks set to become a popular Australian summer anthem too. Source: NT News

Yeah, I like it. I'm not big on the dance scene but I do like the remix. It's his ethereal voice that I really dig.
