Hey guys.
I don't really like to talk about myself, but here goes:
I got tradish enthralled about six months ago (by Jeremy) and I've been practicing ever since. I've already deciphered the whole Djalu 2 cd (after doing "hard tongue" of course), but I plan to learn it by heart, so that is probably going to take me another six months. I know you guys are pros, but if any newcomer ever read this, and plan to learn this cd too, don't forget to write down the bilma beat as well (by highlighting your original notation with strokes for example), it really helps.
I've also retyped the booklet of Djalu one to look like Djalu 2, so pm me if you're interested.
Well that's it.
See you on the other side (of the sea!).
Cheers everybody,
EK
;)

Hi EK,

Howdy back and welcome, and to be clear, there are no pros here! Well actually some of the guys from Arnhem Land are subscribed and they are the pros but as they said to me, its too hard to explain to ngapaki' (that's us) how they play yidaki and they want me to do it    But it is no substitute for the real thing of course.

Hope you enjoy the forum, we're all here to learn from each other so if there's something you want to share, please feel free to do so!

Guan
