Thought I'd let ppl on here know our Japanese friends seem to be ok, haven't heard back from most of them but have been told that Ryohei, Daichi, Asikaga, Tets, Gori and Atsuyuki are well and safe.
I get the feeling there's going to be more and bigger natural disasters in the coming year n next, does any1 else have the same feeling? Ppl do your research...
It is a timely reminder that we are at the mercy of nature and nature's forces, not only that but in our unrelentless pursuit to build, to expand, to conquer, to exploit... we have lost touch with the sacred and the divine and we're paying for it now.

Good to hear everyone, as far as you know, are safe and well, just need to spare a thought for the thousands, could be tens of thousands who have lost everything including family members/children/parents etc along with homes, possessions, having NOTHING LEFT apart from the clothes they stand up in, everything gone, family history, momentos, photo's, records, plus everthing personal that identifies you as a family, all wiped out in a few minutes!!!.... its a total disaster !!!! plus all the damage that has been done to god knows how many people now and in future years to come because of radiation leakage from the nuclear power stations. Yes, I do get the uneasy feeling that this is just the start of our troubles(apart from the the many other disasters to hit our planet over the last 5 years or so) and that worse is to come, not 1000's of years in the future but in ours and our childens lifetime.
Did you know that the earthquake moved the whole of Japan about 2 metres and the earth shifted on its axis !!!!!
http://www.allvoices.com/contributed-ne ... earthquakeI think we should all, in times like this, take time to appreciate what we have in life, re-evaluate our priorities, and think about what is REALLY important in life cos one day we may have to face similar tragedies.
