Has anybody attended previously a Jeremy Cloake workshop? In Belgium he is going to give a beginner level yirdaki workshop as opposed to for instance UK where he has also an advanced one.
I wonder how deep he will be going into trad playing techniques since as far as the organiser told me most of the participiants here are contemporary players who wanna learn about trad techniques.
So I slightly hesitate...any suggestion appreciated.

I've not attended any of Jeremy's workshops but from what I've heard and what I know of him I would strongly suggest you attend. Jeremy is launching his tuition CD which looks to be very good as well.

cool is anybody aware as to when this is being released and where it may fit into other tuition ie hard toung etc is it previous or futher on etc as I cant afford the work shop but would love to attend the London one boo hiss

Has anyone got any ideas about the release of this CD if it is infact open to Gen Pop or just those attending workshops?

Just got my hands on the CD a couple of days ago and is very comprehensive and I hope will give me something to work on to improve on my trad ish style and a couple of variations on what I already know all in all Brilliant and hope there is a follow up yummy!!!!
well produced excersises and Jeremy has put a lot of thought into this the only downfall in my opinion (and I know its meant as an aid to his workshops) is that there is no verble discriptions on the CD giving an explination as to whats going on bar the vicalisation of dhid dhid a hid etc (which is cool) but its all writen in the sleave notes but is easy to follow.
also I think it will work well in conjunction with hard toung for beigners taking a different tack as well as filling in some blanks.
