Should have put this up earlier but the Melbourne Didgeridoo Cultural Festival is on this Saturday (tomorrow), should be fun, won't be anyone from Arnhem Land though, we tried last year to get funding and I thought we got it but didn't, a shame really. This year I wasn't involved in planning or talks, Peter Matic is very capable and I'm sure he's done a great job again as he did last year!

Nice line-up this year and I believe there will be some impromptu surprise performances, and there will be a contingent from overseas too, just hope the rain stays away.

What a festival! I had planned to be there for only a short while but ended up staying 9 hours! Didn't bring my video or still cameras as it was meant to be a day of relaxing and chillin' out for me. Festival was bigger and better than last year and was really well attended, lots of families with kids there, virtually the whole of the local didj community turned out and it was nice catching up with everyone, the handful of us traddies hung out n shared tips and listened to each other.

Well hope the interstate and overseas folk enjoyed it and will stay around and see what else beautiful Melbourne has to offer, we had really nice weather which helped
