Ok, i recently moved and i packed my didg. when i arrived and unpacked everything i noticed my mouthpiece was partially broken off. Should i get some new wax for it or can i just take the existing wax and reheat it in hot water? I've never had to replace it before so im not sure what to do. please help.

Firstly, does your instrument need a wax mouthpiece at all? If you removed all the wax, see if the mouthpiece diameter is still of a comfortable size for you. If it isn't, then re-applying a wax mouthpiece is the way to go. To do that, you could dip the mouthpiece in melted wax, or better still, soften some wax in a microwave oven (low setting for a couple of seconds) or heater, and make a ring of wax to place on the mouthpiece. Hope that helps!

Cheers,

Guan
