This is a great photo of dance and music in a wonderful setting in the 'Stone Country' of Arnhem Land. The instrument looks like one of Ambrose Cameron's. Any idea of who the participants are Guan?

Not sure Kyle, can't really see the faces clearly. Is this one of Penny Tweedie's pics? I'm inclined to think this is around the Maningrida area as there's plenty of stone country around there, and also if an Ambrose mago is being used it would either be near Maningrida or at Malnyanganak outstation near Ramingining which is Rembarrnga country.

I don't know who took this picture. It's one of many I've tracked down over the years and stored in a file! I'd agree with your thoughts on it being near Maningrida. It's an interesting looking stick the fellow is playing with quite a pronounced flare.
