A tourism-hospitality group is holding a corporate function for clients next Wednesday 9th March 2011 and will be having an "outback" theme and need a didgeridoo player. As you guys know, iDIDJ Australia is about promoting all things 'Top End' including traditional Aboriginal didgeridoo players, however, I have been told that the function does not require an Aboriginal player let alone one from the 'Top End' so if anyone is interested let me know. I prefer not to do these events myself, being a proxy in place of a countryman from Arnhem Land makes me feel uncomfortable.
The details...
When: around 6-8 pm 9th March 2011
Where: Warrigal Road, Chadstone, Melbourne, Victoria.
What: Didgeridoo player to play for about half hour as guests arrive. Demonstration and hands-on experience for guests after dinner.
How much: the gig pays $300, tax invoice will need to be written up.
