This is in my collection of sounds in my computer. I can't honestly say where I found it, but I notice it's almost a bit like playing a record backwards. Is this a WAL vamp or variance?

Name on the mp3 is: wangarakbadjalarr style.

Vern this is 'Wanga' music from Rak Badjalarr. It is affiliated with WAL music in that the overtone note is not used however is from further west. I'll refer you to this site: http://www.manikay.com/albums/rakbadjalarr.shtml

So this is closely tied to North Peron Island music? It has a curious sound to it, different, but similar to the WAL styles.

Does Darryl know how to play this? And how does one go about it?

How many other places did digeridoo music manifest itself? I know it's only the top end, but how far west or south?
