Dear Friends,

I am writing to tell you about the magnificent cruise ship Orion, winner of the Brolga Award as the best tour experience in the Northern Territory; its planned voyages across the Arnhem Land coast during the next two years; and a fantastic opportunity for those who can act quickly.

The ship sets sail in just one months time (on May 4th 2010) from Thursday Island and arrives in Darwin on the 11th. The guest list limited to just 100 passengers who will travel in utter luxury, and visit remote and otherwise inaccessible sites. As they do so they will meet the artists and experience the wonders of the rock art and contemporary paintings of Arnhem Land and the Tiwi Islands.

Several great artists from Ramingining will travel on board and provide a most fascinating insight in to their culture while passengers view the landscape from the comfort of the worlds most luxurious ship.

As an adviser to Orion I will be on board to further develop the cultural quality this and future voyages. Orion has already played host to art patrons from several of the world’s finest public collecting institutions. The product we are developing with Orion is aiming to be the highest quality project of its type in the world of high-class adventure travel.

During the next 12 months the National Museum of Australia and the Smithsonian Institution in Washington will co-host a magnificent exhibition Barks, Birds & Billabongs: Exploring the Legacy of the 1948 American—Australian Scientific Expedition to Arnhem Land and I will be working to ensure that the 2011 Orion cruise focuses on the history of the great Arnhem Land art collections initiated during this seminal period.

If you happen to be one of those rare individuals who have the freedom to make an instant decision, and you would like to join Anne and me on next month’s adventure call Orion as soon as you can. It promises to be one of the most luxurious, exciting, and eye-opening weeks of a lifetime.

Due to its imminent departure I have personally negotiated a special incentive to join us on the cruise. Any full paying passenger will receive a 50% reduction on the fare for their travelling companion.

To take advantage of this fantastic offer call 1 300 361 012, and mention my name.

* this is an international voyage. You will require a valid passport with 6 months validity as you will enter international waters during the voyage.

Best wishes,

Adrian Newstead
