 Post subject: very old bamboo didgeridoo - early 20th century

This pic was taken by Ted Ryko at a buffalo camp. The instrument is a native bamboo (Bambusa arnhemica) specimen. Two similar examples are found in the iDIDJ Reference Collection:

I'd say that this photo was from the 1st quarter of the 20th century... anywhere from 1900 to 1925. Notice the writing on the bottom left-hand corner of the pic? It says "Home Sweet Home on the Diddgery Doo..." - this is very early evidence of the usage of the word didgeridoo and any of its synonyms.
