I usually clik on "view new posts" rather than "view active topics".
If it can help...

Ummm... I don't even know what that means, what's "view active topics"?? I can ask the forum host to check out the problem if you guys think its worth investigating.

But yeah, I also just click on "View new posts" to catch up on the latest, it works for me all the time Ambros. I think the problem with "View new topics" is that if, say, you log in and see there's 9 new posts, and then log out without reading the posts, when you log in again the next time even if it is 30 seconds later, those 9 new posts will not show again... so the upshot is whenever you log in check out all the new posts before logging out otherwise you will miss these posts next time you log in again, does that make sense?

Guan

Hi Guan!
Same problem even as an anonymous 'unlogged' guest - anyone coming to the site cannot filter for active or recent threads. It used to work fine but stopped doing so around a month or so ago

p.s. view unanswered posts, view new posts & view your posts works fine. Only view active topics returns an empty listing. The danger is anonymous viewers coming to the site for the first time may well hit the VAT link to see what's cooking and assume nothing is!
